What is the Christian faith?
At the heart of Christianity is a simple but life-changing message: there is a God who loves you and wants to have a personal relationship with you.
Christians believe that God created the world and every person in it, and that He made us to live in close connection with Him. But all of us experience a world—and a life—that’s marked by brokenness, hurt, and guilt. The Bible calls this “sin,” and it separates us from the relationship with God we were designed for.
That’s why Jesus matters so much.
Christians believe that Jesus is God’s Son. He came to show us what God is really like, and to make a way for us to come back to Him. Jesus lived a perfect life, died on a cross to deal with the barrier of sin, and rose again—so that we could be forgiven, healed, and restored.
Following Jesus isn’t about becoming religious or ticking boxes. It’s about starting a new life—one filled with purpose, peace, and a growing relationship with God, empowered by His Holy Spirit.
